About Alexandra

I'm an 18 year old girl who's just moved to a new city to pursue Games Design in University. I've always been a fan of reading and writing and would like to go on to write stories for movies or games. My interest in literature is what sparked an idea to tutor, I love to read and develop my linguistic skills.
As I've moved away from my family, I speak a lot less of my native language, Polish. I'm determined to not forget my roots and often speak in Polish or read in the language to further develop my knowledge.

Jestem 18-letnią dziewczyną, która właśnie przeprowadziła się do nowego miasta, aby studiować projektowanie gier na studiach. Zawsze byłam fanem czytania i pisania, i chciałabym w przyszłośći pisać fabuły do filmów lub gier. Pomysł na korepetycje zrodził się z mojego zainteresowania literaturą. Uwielbiam czytać i rozwijać swoje umiejętności językowe.
Ponieważ wyprowadziłam się od rodziny, mówię znacznie mniej w swoim ojczystym języku, polskim. Zależy mi na tym, aby nie zapomnieć o swoich korzeniach więc często mówie po polsku lub czytam w tym języku, aby dalej rozwijać swoją wiedzę.

About the lesson

I offer lessons based on your skill level. Before your tutoring starts, we would have an 'induction' where you would tell me about yourself and what level you think you are in the language. From then on, we would decide together where to start and what to go over.

The length of lessons would either be an hour or an hour and a half, depending on what's most suitable for you.

I mostly teach older children (15+) or adults and more people who are interested in learning a new language, rather then preparing for exams such as GCSEs.

Oferuję lekcje dostosowane do twojego poziomu umiejętności. Przed pierwszą lekcją przeprowadziłabym rozmowę wprowadzającą, aby zobaczyć, na jakim etapie jesteś w języku.

Lekcje trwałyby godzinę lub półtorej godziny, w zależności od tego, czego chcesz/potrzebujesz.

Uczę głównie starsze dzieci (15+) lub dorosłych i więcej osób zainteresowanych nauką nowego języka, a nie przygotowaniem do egzaminów takich jak GCSE.
