About William
My first priority is to build a rapport with students. I believe that when I get to know a student better it leads to much better teaching as the student will be more comfortable around me. Additionally, this helps as I can tutor a student much more effectively if I know what that students personal temperaments to learning are. Lessons are more specific and they are honestly more fun, because who wants to learn when they are bored?

I have always worked with both native English speakers and those of ESL. I personally speak Mandarin as well as English.
Lessons will cover one of 3 major ideas: Review, Preview and Assistance. Depending on your needs I will work to make sure your child is covering what is beneficial to them in terms of learning. Too often I see tutors rely on just making students do questions over and over again, my goal is to teach the methodology so the student themselves can succeed.
