About Ricardo
Growing up with two parents who are both actuaries, I was surrounded by math from a young age. My parents enrolled me in extracurricular math classes and even gave me tests of their own. By the time I reached high school, these skills aligned with what I was learning, so I decided to take every math course available. Succeeding in these courses made me realize my passion for math, and I decided to pursue a career centered around it. Now, as a second-year student, I've learned new techniques and tackled problems in calculus and linear algebra.

My lesson plans focus on teaching the fundamentals of a problem, followed by reviewing examples to reinforce the techniques required for solving it. The session will begin by outlining learning goals, followed by a review of the relevant theory needed to solve the problem. Once the concepts are clear, a step-by-step example will be presented. Finally, the session will conclude with practice problems to reinforce what was learned.
