About Adam
Hello my name is Adam. I am currently studying Biomedical science at the university of Sheffield. I am very much enjoying my course and I am especially interested in the neuroscience and molecular biology modules. It is thanks to tutors that I managed to be accepted into my first choice university and it is because of this that I am interested in becoming a tutor myself.
Having had a tutor for a year during my A levels I went from a C to an A in chemistry. Because of my experience being a tutee I have learnt what makes a great tutor and what techniques work when pupils don't understand a certain area. In my experience tutors are great for allowing students to achieve their greatest potential.

In my lessons I plan to go through lots of exam questions in areas that the student is struggling in. From my experience in revising for both GCSEs and A-levels, practise exam questions are the key to succeeding in your exams. During the first section of my lessons I shall be walking the pupil through some questions and helping them get a good understanding of how to answer the questions with methods that are very effective. Then after that they will attempt to answer the questions on their own with me taking a backseat and only helping when they need advice. After an hour of this method of study will allow the student to be able to answer all questions in an subject area to a high level of success.
I believe I have the qualities to become a great tutor and I am excited to get started
