About Lucas
My name is Lucas, I study History and politics at university because, well, it's my passion, boring I know but I always valued it because I think history explains why the world is like it is today and politics is the driving force behind history. I want to share that passion with people who want to improve their learning and understanding and use that to improve their performance in exams. I want to inspire you to want to know more about history and hopefully make it a lifelong passion of yours too while sharing the skills I have learnt from PhD educated historians at university, techniques that will aid you when it comes to exam time as well as share my knowledge from doing the exams and prepping you on what to expect.

I offer 1 hour or 30 minute lessons for GCSE History students (year 10 and 11) and A-Level History and Politics students (year 12 and 13). Being a Swim teacher for 3 years has given me the ability to address each student's individual needs and be able to change my methods to suit the students. As a first-year university student I can utilise the modern practices of teaching to help the students as well as being fresh out of A-Level which will be advantageous as I will know the skills required for exams as well as how to improve the knowledge taught in the normal classroom.
