About Charlie
Hi I'm Charlie and I'm a student mental health nurse. I'm also a wife and mother passionate about making education accessible to everyone - particularly those who are neurodivergent (as a family of 3 we are all neurodiverse).
On my degree I have worked in CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service) with children and young people of all ages, helping them to engage in studying and promoting mental wellbeing. I also run study groups at my University for those who may be finding the material a little tricky to understand straight away. I love to make the information accessible and it's a wonderful experience to be a part of a light bulb moment!
I look forward to working with all of my students and can't wait to begin making biology accessible to all :)

I feel it's super important to make lessons as fun and engaging as they can possibly be! I love to use bright, easy to follow materials in a range of formats (text, video etc) to tailor each lesson to the individual.
Each lesson will be 60 minutes in length with optional breaks to aid those with ADHD/Autism when studying. I have worked with children who have really benefitted from this in the past, as well as benefitting from them myself (I have ADHD!). Children between the ages of 11-16 and young adults studying A-Levels would benefit from my lessons. I also welcome adults studying a human biology subject in further and higher education.
