About Amanda
I am a student at the University of Birmingham studying German and Russian, and I really enjoy learning new languages! I achieved an A in my German and Spanish A-levels in 2020, so I am well-equipped to teach the GCSE and A-level curricula. I have experience teaching English to Ukrainian refugees and I have taken a teacher training course. I am a patient individual, and as a native English speaker, I understand well all of the problems that may arise for other English speakers learning the languages I teach.

I will focus on creating a lesson plan based on the curriculum of the exam board that you are studying. The first lesson will be a meeting to assess your language level and find out your aims with the lessons. We will focus on strengthening your weak points, as well as highlighting strengths that you can feel proud of. The lessons will be tailored to your needs, and additional tasks can be set as homework to help you practise in between lessons.
