About Taylor
I have been tutoring students in grades K-3rd for over four years in subjects such as English and reading. I have worked with students in multiple school districts from all different types of backgrounds. I find joy in watching students learn and grow through their tutoring process with me.

My teaching approach is to meet students where they are and to help them grow from there. I start by assessing the student and how much they currently know. I do this by having students read beginner reading passages based on their grade and then take note of how well they are able to not only read the passage but comprehend the passage and what is occurring in it. From there, I can determine what reading level the student is on and I use this information to make a tailored guide to help the student grow and succeed.
