About Aiddan
Hi, I'm Aiddan! I am a current university student pursuing my Bachelor of Science online, and I bring a unique, highly practical perspective to tutoring.
Alongside my studies, I work full-time as a Head Chef. Running a commercial kitchen is all about taking complex, multi-step operations and breaking them down into modular, highly organized systems. That exact mindset is how I approach teaching STEM. Whether we are mapping out a multi-step organic chemistry synthesis or breaking down a massive statistical dataset, I specialize in turning overwhelming problems into clear, manageable steps.
I also hold a Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, which heavily informs how I teach Statistics. I have practical experience handling real-world datasets and data visualization (using tools like Google Sheets and Tableau), meaning I can help you see the actual story behind the numbers rather than just memorizing textbook formulas.
Because I am actively balancing my own online degree with a demanding career, I understand the pressures of modern academics firsthand. I know how valuable your time is, and my goal is to help you study efficiently, build genuine confidence, and conquer your hardest classes.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
I believe that mastering complex STEM subjects is about pattern recognition, not blind memorization. For Organic Chemistry, my method relies heavily on visualizing the "why" behind electron flow and reaction mechanisms so you can confidently predict products rather than just memorizing them. For Statistics, I use a highly practical, data-driven approach. Instead of getting lost in abstract formulas, we ground the math in real-world logic. For Trigonometry, I focus on building a rock-solid spatial understanding of the unit circle, functions, and identities so you have the foundation needed for Calculus and Physics.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Every student is different, but a standard 60-minute session generally follows this structure:
The Check-In (5-10 mins): We review your current syllabus, clarify where you are getting stuck in your homework, and quickly recap the previous session's core concepts.
Concept Breakdown (15-20 mins): I introduce new material using visual aids and clear analogies. I break down the theory first before we even look at a complex equation.
Guided Practice (20-25 mins): The "I do, we do, you do" method. I walk through a problem, we tackle one together, and then you take the lead. I step in only to guide your logic and correct missteps in real-time.
Action Plan (5-10 mins): We summarize the key takeaways and I provide specific focus areas or practice problems to tackle before we meet again.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I am currently navigating university coursework myself, which means I completely understand the pressures, deadlines, and stress of modern academics. I know what professors are actually looking for. Additionally, my professional certification in data analytics gives me a unique edge, particularly in Statistics. I don't just teach rote textbook theory; I have practical experience handling datasets and can show you how to visualize and organize numbers using tools like Google Sheets or Tableau, making abstract statistical concepts click much faster.
Who the Lessons Are For
These sessions are designed for:
High School Students: Specifically those tackling AP Statistics, Trigonometry, or introductory Chemistry who want to get ahead before college.
College/University Students: Undergrads who are trying to survive the notorious "weed-out" classes like Organic Chemistry, or who need to pass their core math and stats requirements.
Non-Traditional Students: Anyone returning to school or taking online courses who needs patient, step-by-step guidance to dust off their math and science skills.
