About Sophia
I am a twenty year old student at the University of Bristol. I studied maths as part of the International Baccalaureate, obtaining the top grade (7) in 2024 as well as the top grade (9) in GCSE maths in 2021. Currently, I study French, German and Italian. I tutored from 2022-2024 and absolutely loved having the chance to build students’ confidence and be a part of their journey in achieving their goals.

For younger students, I take an approach centred around worksheets, games and questions that I have written myself, often incorporating students’ hobbies or interests into the questions to encourage their engagement. For older students, particularly those in Year 11, my approach is very focused on exam practice questions, to build students’ confidence with and understanding of the exact type of questions that they will encounter in their exam.
