About Katelyn
Hi! My name is Katelyn. I was born and raised in Ottawa, now residing in the Waterloo region to finish out my post secondary studies. While I often struggle with a lot of subjects in school, languages have always been my strong suit. I even took a Spanish class in high school to broaden my understanding of languages. I've been speaking French fluently for as long as I can remember. Bordering Quebec will inspire many parents to have their kids learn French and I am forever grateful my parents provided me with it. I now look forward to sharing that knowledge with others who may struggle in languages similar to how I struggle with other subjects. Looking forward to chatting with you and establishing a kind, friendly, open, and understanding learning environment.

As someone who struggles in school herself, even to this day, I approach teaching and assisting from an understanding point of view. There is no judgement here especially as I know languages can be tough. I strive to create a safe space with as much or as little structure as necessary to help you succeed. I look forward to making curated and personalized lesson plans in whatever way helps you learn best. I know personally I have explored many different ways of learning and one thing doesn't necessarily work for everyone.
