About Samuel
I've been sewing and making clothes for four years, building my skills through hands-on practice, a lot of trial and error, and a genuine obsession with how garments come together. My background in vintage clothing and retail gave me a deep understanding of construction long before I picked up a needle — so when I started making my own pieces, I already knew what good workmanship looked like. That combination of technical knowledge and real passion for clothes is what I bring into every lesson. I'm not a distant expert — I'm someone who has learned by doing, which means I know exactly where beginners get stuck and how to get them unstuck.

We start from the ground up: getting comfortable with your machine, understanding how it works, and building practical skills through real projects from day one. I teach the way I wish someone had taught me — clear, hands-on, and focused on the why behind every technique so it actually sticks. My background in fashion and garment construction gives the lessons real-world context that goes beyond just operating a machine, and I adjust the pace entirely to you. Whether you want to alter your own clothes, upcycle vintage finds, or just finally figure out how your machine works, we'll build a foundation that actually goes somewhere.
