About Scarlett

I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, where I was a D1 collegiate rower on the 2024 and 2026 national championship-winning team. I was pre-med and graduated a year early over the summer. I majored in art history, which provided me with extensive experience in writing large-volume and high-quality thesis papers. Balancing academics and athletics with a unique major allowed me to stand out on both my undergraduate and medical school applications. I hope to bring the distinct skills I learned in high school and undergrad to my students to maximize their academic performance and college applications.

About the lesson

For the best outcome, I want to meet students at the level they're at and help them develop a growth mindset approach. I can teach anyone from K-12 and college students. I help develop SAT test taking skills and work on strengthening thesis and essay building abilities to maximize performance in English language and literature courses. This is also useful in helping students provide a well-rounded and in depth profile for their college application essays. My experiences balancing academics with athletics from middle school onwards helped me become more efficient with my limited free time which is a skill I intend to pass on to my students, especially if they participate in athletics or other time intensive extracurriculars.
