I am a recent gradate from the University of Ottawa, where I graduated top of my class in Mechanical engineering. My professional portfolio involves working with both the public and private sector. I am a Masters Student Candidate for U of T (top engineering school in Canada) for the coming year. I have 6 years of experience tutoring from grade 10 to senior year undergrad.

I try to explain content in a way that's best suited for each student. Each student can grasp content differently, some are more visual while some learn by doing problem sets. In short, I am against memorizing content, as memorizing leads to students forgetting the material and not setting a foundation for their future education. I usually go over content explaining the theory, while showing examples, and go over as many questions as possible as only by seeing how the theory is applied in questions do students truly learn. The tone and speed of teaching, all depends on the students, at a speed that's best suited to understanding the most.
