About Qingyuan
Hi! My name is Qingyuan (Alice), and I am a Materials Engineering student at the University of Toronto. I have been tutoring math students from Grades 5–12 since high school and genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence and improve their problem-solving skills.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student’s learning style. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. By listening to how students think through problems, I can adapt my explanations and teaching strategies to help them learn more effectively.
Beyond improving grades, I aim to help students develop stronger study habits, logical thinking skills, and confidence in their abilities. Watching students grow academically and become more confident learners is the most rewarding part of tutoring for me.
