About Stephen
I have a background in Engineering and converted to Computing Science via a masters degree at University of East Anglia in 2016/17. I finished top of my class and tutored at the university after that.
I've given private Java lessons to several students who all had multiple sessions with me being happy with the service. I love tutoring Java, especially for beginners, but I can help to a fairly advanced level.

I can teach based upon a university syllabus but for students who are struggling I feel it is often best for the student to tell me their topic of interest and tailor custom lessons to resolve each issue. I will demonstrate via live coding, in person or online, with relevant examples of the problem at hand and can set tasks for the student to complete in their own time. I can tailor examples around the issues being faced in university coursework.
