About Catthy
Hi! I’m a Chemistry student at the University of Warwick, and I’m passionate about Maths and science. I studied Maths and Further Maths at A Level and have always enjoyed problem-solving and understanding how things work.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping others overcome difficult topics and seeing their confidence grow. Through nearly two years of teaching piano, I’ve developed my ability to explain ideas clearly, be patient and adapt my teaching to suit different learners.
I aim to make my lessons friendly and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Most importantly, I want to help each student work towards and achieve their individual goals.

I aim to make my lessons friendly, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. My goal is to work with each student towards and achieve their individual goals, whether that is building confidence, improving understanding of key topics, or preparing for exams.
As a Chemistry student at the University of Warwick, I have a strong background in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and enjoy helping students develop both their understanding and confidence.
I teach Maths up to A Level and adapt lessons to suit each student. I like to break down challenging problems into manageable steps and encourage students to understand the methods behind their answers rather than simply memorising them.
Lessons can include working through questions together, explaining difficult concepts, practising exam-style questions and identifying areas for improvement.
