About Caitlin
Hi there! I’m Caitlin, originally from the UK, but I’ve been globe-trotting a bit—lived in Canada, and now I’ve landed in the stunning Okere Falls, New Zealand! I’m all about hiking, skiing, climbing, eating (yes, eating), and of course, all things art. I’ve been drawing caricatures for 25 years—started as a kid and never stopped! I even taught caricature drawing at a summer camp in Maine for two years, and now I use it in therapy because, let’s face it, laughter is the best medicine.
When I’m not cracking jokes through my drawings, I’m busy creating large acrylic masterpieces on rocks, driftwood—pretty much anything I can get my hands on, not just canvas! Whether teaching or creating, caricatures have always been a fun, humorous outlet for me and a great way to connect with others. Let’s get artsy!

For the past seven years, I’ve been working as a children’s therapist, using art as a key form of therapy. Whether it’s drawing cartoons, creating comic strips, or whipping up caricatures, I’ve found that art is an incredible way for kids and teens to express themselves, unwind, and build up some cool new creative skills!
Caricature drawing, in particular, has been a hilarious and fun way for my clients (and myself!) to get creative. Throughout my therapy career, I’ve been teaching this playful form of self-expression to help individuals relax and explore their artistic side.
I have extensive experience working with individuals diagnosed with ADHD and Autism and fully understand the unique needs that come with it. My sessions are designed to be inclusive, engaging, and tailored to each person’s pace.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me outdoors, painting landscapes with watercolors or acrylics, or, of course, drawing more caricatures. But the good news is – I’m here in Okere Falls and Rotorua, and I can come to your home to offer fun, creative lessons! Whether you’re looking to build new art skills or just want a relaxed session of doodling.
