About Alexander

I am a First-Class Durham Law graduate, current postgraduate research candidate, and a Gray’s Inn Scholar. My academic journey has been defined by a deep passion for unlocking the intellectual challenges of the law, which helped me achieve top-tier marks. Coming from a low-income background, I know firsthand that succeeding in law school requires more than just hard work. It requires understanding an invisible blueprint of academic strategy, structural writing, and networks that are rarely explicitly taught.

I want to tutor because I am deeply committed to demystifying the legal discipline and breaking down the barriers to equal academic access. About the lesson

A typical 1-to-1 online session focuses on one of three core pillars:

1. Targeted Concept Breakdown: We deconstruct complex legal principles, whether it is breaking down the three formalities of wills or mastering the intricacies of piercing the corporate veil, using clear, jargon-free explanations.

2. Structural Audit & Redrafting: We dissect your essays or coursework drafts line by line against university marking criteria. I teach you how to shift from purely descriptive writing to high-scoring critical analysis.

3. Exam & Presentation Strategy: We build your confidence by practising structured argument development, legal research techniques, and oral presentation delivery.
