I am a passionate piano educator with 14 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. My teaching style is welcoming, engaging, and focused on active student participation. I believe learning piano should be both enjoyable and meaningful. Each lesson is designed to help students understand music, not just play notes.
I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and expression. My approach balances technical training, music theory, and historical context to give students a complete learning experience. My teaching approach for piano focuses on building strong fundamentals while making learning enjoyable and meaningful. I guide students step by step from basics to advanced techniques with clear structure. Along with piano skills, I include rhythm training, ear training, music theory, and improvisation to develop full musicality. I encourage students to express emotions through music and build confidence in their playing. Lessons are flexible and adapted to each student’s goals, pace, and learning style.
I support students who enjoy creating their own music by helping them explore composition, chord progressions, and creative ideas. I also work closely with students who use music as a way to relax and express feelings, providing a calm and encouraging environment. I introduce multiple genres like classical, jazz, pop, soul, and funk so students can discover their unique style. This helps them stay motivated and open to new sounds.
Each lesson plan is personalised to ensure steady growth and consistent progress. I focus on both technical accuracy and creative freedom. Students are encouraged to practice regularly while also experimenting with music. I aim to build not just skills, but a lasting passion for piano.
