About Jeremy
Do you understand English perfectly but freeze up when it's time to actually speak?
I help professionals and adult learners turn passive English knowledge into confident, natural fluency — through real conversation, not textbook drills.
My focus is helping you sound like yourself in English: clear, natural, and confident, whether that's in a meeting, an interview, a phone call, or everyday conversation.
I've helped students pass exams like the TOEFL, prepare for high-stakes presentations and interviews, and — most often — simply stop being afraid to speak.
I'm a native English speaker with 11 years of teaching experience and a TESOL/TEFL certification. I also speak fluent Portuguese, which means I can explain tricky concepts clearly if that's ever useful — though most of our lessons will be conversation-first, in English.

Real Conversation, Not Rote Drills: We spend most of our time actually talking — about current events, your work, your goals, whatever keeps you engaged — so the practice mirrors real-life speaking, not memorized scripts.
Pronunciation & Natural Rhythm: Getting the words right isn't enough — English has its own music. We work on reducing accent barriers and building natural intonation so you're not just understood, but heard clearly and confidently.
Ongoing, Non-Disruptive Feedback: I correct recurring errors in structure and vocabulary as we go, without interrupting your flow or making you self-conscious mid-sentence.
Turning Passive Knowledge into Active Fluency: My goal is simple — take what you already understand and help you actually use it, so you can speak with full autonomy instead of translating in your head first.
