  • Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

My first experience with a computer was both exciting and transformative. I vividly remember sitting in front of a bulky desktop, fascinated by its potential. It was during a school project where we learned to use basic word processing and educational software. Though the interface seemed intimidating at first, the thrill of creating something, even as simple as a document, hooked me. This experience laid the foundation for my passion for ICT and inspired me to explore the endless possibilities of technology.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you most, and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

The rise of cloud computing has marked me the most. The ability to store, access, and share information across devices seamlessly has revolutionized the way we work, learn, and communicate. In my teaching, I’ve embraced tools like Google Workspace and educational apps that leverage the cloud to provide interactive and collaborative learning experiences.
Looking ahead, I believe the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in education will be a significant turning point. AI has the potential to personalize learning at an unprecedented level, tailoring content to individual student needs and empowering educators to focus on creative and critical teaching tasks.
  • Explain your expertise, your interest in it, and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

I specialize in teaching ICT and Maths, focusing on equipping students and professionals with practical skills for the digital world. My interest lies in simplifying complex concepts, whether it's demystifying coding basics for a young learner or guiding a professional through advanced software applications.
This expertise is vital in today’s computer-driven world as it helps bridge the gap between users and technology. Proficiency in ICT not only boosts productivity but also opens doors to countless opportunities. For my students, understanding computers isn’t just about skill acquisition—it’s about empowerment, confidence, and staying relevant in a fast-evolving digital landscape.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries,' such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg, inspire you, or do you have other role models?

Visionaries like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have undoubtedly influenced my perspective. Their ability to innovate and transform the way we interact with technology is deeply inspiring. However, I also find inspiration in everyday educators and mentors who use technology creatively to transform lives. Seeing how teachers integrate digital tools to reach diverse learners has inspired me to continuously evolve my teaching methods and bring innovation into my lessons.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

One of my favorite memories involves helping a struggling student overcome their fear of algebra through ICT. I introduced them to an interactive app that gamified equations, turning what once felt overwhelming into a fun challenge. Watching the student go from frustration to mastering the concepts—and even teaching their peers—was incredibly rewarding. It reaffirmed my belief that combining technology with the right teaching approach can unlock any student’s potential.
  • What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

I’d say, "It’s only complicated until you take the first step, and I’m here to guide you through it. Think of ICT as a toolkit—every tool has its purpose, and once you understand the basics, you’ll see how each piece fits together. Start small, celebrate your progress, and remember: everyone, even the experts, started from scratch." I also emphasize that learning ICT is a journey, not a race, and patience is key.
  • What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

Apart from ICT, I’m deeply passionate about teaching mathematics and finding creative ways to make it enjoyable. I love incorporating puzzles, games, and real-life examples to make abstract concepts relatable. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing table tennis, exploring the outdoors, engaging in community service, and reading books on personal development and education trends. These activities provide a balance and help me bring fresh ideas into my teaching.
  • What makes you a Superprof in IT?

My dedication to personalized learning sets me apart. With over 8 years of experience teaching ICT to students and professionals, I’ve honed my ability to adapt lessons to suit diverse needs and learning styles. My teaching career spans renowned institutions such as British International School, Ghana; Ghana Christian International High School; Association International School; Agona Fankobaa Senior High School (Ghana Education Service); and Holy Child School, Cape Coast (Ghana Education Service). These experiences have given me the ability to connect with learners of all backgrounds.
I also specialize in certification preparation and proctoring through Certiport Inc., having helped over 300 individuals achieve certifications in platforms like Microsoft, Adobe, QuickBooks, and more. Additionally, I’ve trained teachers on how to deliver engaging online lessons. My lessons combine traditional methods with innovative tools like gamified apps and interactive resources, ensuring learning is effective and enjoyable.
Whether you’re a student, professional, or someone looking to upskill, I’m here to support your journey in mastering ICT and Maths. Let’s work together to achieve your goals!
