My class structure is designed to ensure you progress steadily and develop a strong foundation in playing the keyboard and guitar.
1. Foundation Building:
I begin with the basics - finger placement, posture, and an introduction to the instrument. You'll learn the fundamentals of music theory, enabling you to understand musical notation and scales.
2. Techniques and Skills:
I will guide you through various techniques, including chord progressions, scales, and arpeggios. You'll build dexterity and control over your fingers, enabling you to play with confidence.
3. Musical Repertoire:
Get ready to play your favorite songs and iconic pieces! From classical masterpieces to contemporary hits, you'll have the opportunity to explore a wide range of musical genres.
4. Sight-Reading Mastery:
Reading sheet music doesn't have to be daunting. My teaching techniques will demystify the art of sight-reading, allowing you to confidently approach new pieces and perform them flawlesslly.
5. Get a Trinity certificate :
Once you are ready , you can register for the trinity graded exams and get the certificate which will be very beneficial for many endeavours.
Classes can be group or private according to the preference with group rates being lesser than private tuitions.
