About Marina
With 12 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in teaching guitar to students of all levels, including school, college, and working professionals. My approach focuses on making learning fun and accessible while tailoring lessons to suit each student’s individual needs and goals. I believe in fostering a deep passion for music by not only teaching the technical aspects of guitar but also helping students connect with the joy of playing. My teaching philosophy is rooted in communication, creativity, and accountability. I strive to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students can express themselves, take creative risks, and feel supported in their progress. Whether you’re learning classical, jazz, electric, bass, or acoustic guitar, I make sure each lesson is engaging and relevant to your musical aspirations. Over the years, I’ve helped students achieve their goals, whether it's mastering a particular song, preparing for performances, or improving their overall skills. My ultimate aim is to inspire and empower students to play guitar with confidence and passion.

My teaching methodology is built on a foundation of communication, flexibility, creativity, accountability, and empathy. I focus on creating an open and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to express themselves and ask questions. Communication is key, so I ensure that lessons are clear and engaging, tailored to each student’s pace and learning style.
Flexibility is important, as I adapt lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, whether they're just starting or refining their skills. I incorporate creativity in every lesson, making learning enjoyable and helping students think outside the box, especially when tackling new concepts or techniques.
Accountability ensures that students stay motivated and on track with their progress. I encourage consistent practice and help set realistic goals. Above all, I approach teaching with empathy, understanding that each student is different and providing support to overcome challenges. This method applies not only to guitar but also to any other subjects I teach, ensuring a holistic, personalized learning experience.
