About Mabel
My teaching approach centers on vocal wellness, mindfulness, and long-term voice care for both The Soloist in Training and The Church Ensemble Player. Each session begins with mindful warm-ups that connect breath, posture, and resonance, allowing the voice to open naturally. I emphasize gentle vocal placement, helping singers find ease and clarity without tension or strain. Hydration habits are built into every routine, reminding students that a healthy body supports a healthy voice. For The Soloist in Training, the focus is on vocal freedom, stage presence, and emotional authenticity—balancing ambition with patience and self-awareness. For The Church Ensemble Player, we explore blend, harmony, and tone balance while maintaining individual confidence and vocal identity. Both learn to listen deeply, breathe consciously, and stay grounded in the joy of making music. I often recommend vocal tracking apps to monitor growth, mindfulness timers to support consistent practice, and guided breathwork tools to promote relaxation. Through these habits, students learn to sustain their voices and nurture calm focus in performance settings. My goal is to help singers grow with both technical strength and inner peace. Singing, after all, is not only an art—it’s a mindful, lifelong journey of joy and self-discovery.

I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in teaching young children and early teens, helping them explore their voices through creativity, imagination, and play. My lessons are full of energy and variety—I use games, movement, and storytelling to teach pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics in a way that feels natural and fun.
I love working with songs that spark joy and curiosity, from folk melodies to Disney favorites and musical theatre tunes. Each lesson is carefully shaped around age-appropriate techniques that strengthen the voice while keeping it healthy and relaxed. I believe that every child has a unique sound, and my role is to help them discover it with confidence and excitement.
My classroom is a safe, encouraging space where mistakes are just part of the adventure. Singing isn’t only about hitting the right notes it’s about storytelling, emotion, and joy. With the right guidance, every young singer can find their voice.
