About Julie
Hi, here is a bit about me. Originally setting my sights on becoming a teacher in France, I found myself drawn to the captivating world of science that took me around the world. After my Master's degree in Paris (France) and a thrilling PhD adventure in Copenhagen (Denmark) where I delved into infectious microbiology. I then moved to Calgary (Canada) to continue my research journey. Throughout it all, my passion for teaching and learning has remained steadfast. As a bilingual (French/English) microbiome researcher, my approach to teaching mirrors my scientific mindset: creative yet methodological, and result-driven.
