She is very invested in each and every student she has. Always putting in the extra step as a tutor, Richen creates review questions each lesson to see how much the student grasps the concept, then explains the parts they do not understand. She tests your knowledge so that you won’t second guess yourself. Overall, she is caring, compassionate and involved in the growth and learning of each student.

I had Richen as my study group leader for microbiology/immunology and she was amazing! She always answered any of the questions I had about course content and beyond the course as well. If she wasn't one hundred percent sure of the answer, she would take the time to look it up to ensure she was providing the correct answer. Richen was very passionate about microbiology/immunology and it was ovbious that she had a lot of knowledge in the area and wanted to share it with others. Richen was very encouraging and really cared about the success of the students in the study group - she would make review questions for us, create games for us to review, as well as create worksheets to help reinforce class content. I would definitely recommend Richen as a tutor for biology!

Richen is very outgoing and friendly, you never feel like your asking a stupid question! She explains everything as if you are a newbie and very caring and understanding. Richen is very creative in her teaching methods and always trying to make learning fun. Thanks Richen

Richen is an awesome tutor and really knows her stuff. She lead a medical microbiology study group with about nine people, and consistently solidified information in my mind. She had lots of handy tips and tricks that help with memory and understanding of biology.

Richen helped me with my medical microbiology class. Without Richen I honestly would not have done as well as I did!! She is very trustworthy, smart, kind, and encouraged me when I thought I was going to not do well on an exam. She went above and beyond to help me and the other people in our group by making sure we were well prepared for anything in the class! She was our biggest cheerleader when we were nervous about an exam or an assessment and motivated us to be the best version of ourselves
