About Ivan
Hi! I’m Ivan, a Physics and Astrophysics graduate from the University of Toronto, where I completed my degree with High Distinction. I will soon begin my Master’s in Theoretical Physics at the University of Amsterdam.
Throughout my studies, I developed a strong foundation in physics and mathematics, as well as the ability to approach complex problems clearly and systematically. I have experience explaining challenging concepts in a simple, intuitive manner, which helps students build real understanding and confidence.
I am patient, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoy teaching. I take the time to make sure each student feels comfortable asking questions and fully understands the material before moving forward.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help you improve your grades, but also to help you think more confidently and independently when solving problems.

What makes my lessons different is the focus on clarity and intuition. I take the time to explain why things work, not just how to solve them. I adapt to your pace and make sure you fully understand before moving on.
