About Sanya
I am a student at the University of Toronto and I’m majoring in Economics and Public Policy. I am actively involved in research in the fields of ethics, environment and economics and I am an active learner myself. As a recent high school graduate, I understand how much pressure the schooling system can put students through and I am here to help with just that!
I have been in many mentoring positions in high school and I am well equipped to understand my students’ learning strategies and work with them on how they feel. The main goal is for them to feel comfortable with the subject and let go of any fears they have!

My lessons are engaging and thoughtful. I do not like to teach on the surface level, I like to dive deep with the theory and really ensure the concept is clear to my students before we proceed with any problem solving. I also believe mindful practicing is key, solving questions without paying attention doesn’t cut it! I help my students reach their full potential and I try to understand what learning strategy works for them.
