Hi, I'm Ava, a soon-to-be graduate from the University of Arizona with a major in Neuroscience and Cognitive Sciences and a minor in Pharmaceutical Sciences. My tutoring approach is rooted in clarity, adaptability, and helping students find what actually works for them. I focus not just on understanding the material, but on helping you develop personalized study habits and techniques that stick, so you're not just getting through the course, you are building long-term skills. Each session is tailored to your personal needs. We will start by identifying where you're struggling or what goals you're working toward, then work through the content with strategies that match your learning style. I'm also able to share some study tricks, memory tools, and organization methods that have helped me succeed. What sets me apart is my ability to meet students where they are and help them build confidence and structure in their learning. I've been in your shoes and have worked through many of the same tough classes. I offer tutoring for elementary through high school students, as well as some undergraduate students, primarily in mathematics, general science courses, chemistry, physics, anatomy & physiology, and overall academic guidance for long-term success.

My pricing is flexible and can be adjusted based on individual needs. While my base rates are listed, I understand that every student's situation is different, and I'm happy to discuss options that work for you. In-person sessions may include a small travel fee depending on the distance, and I'm always transparent about that in advance. Online sessions are offered at a lower rate, though I recognize that virtual learning isn't ideal for everyone. I will be relocating to the Phoenix area in June, so long-term bookings will take that move into consideration.
