My goal is to use to use a holistic, problem solving based teaching method to improve the grades of K-12 students while giving them a deeper understanding and appreciation of math and science. The teaching process begins with an evaluation process that determines the unique skills and experience level of your child, followed by topic based tutoring sessions that emphasize fundamental math and science literacy and improving study skills.
I am a neuroscience student at the university of Pennsylvania with excellent academic credentials and a varied teaching background. With experience ranging from hands on lab work at the Rutgers Newark department of cell biology to one on one and group teaching experience in STEM subjects at International Ivy summer enrichment programs, I have the skills to teach in a wide variety of subjects across the maths and sciences. I am qualified to teach math and science to K-8 students, along with high school Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and AP level calculus, along with Physics and Biology up to the AP level.
