About Muhammad

Hi! I am Muhammad Amirul Ammar, a Foundation Science graduate from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) who is continuing my studies in Medicine. I graduated from Sekolah Menengah Sains Sultan Muhammad Jiwa with 8A+ and 1A in SPM, including A+ in Biology, alongside a Cambridge English C1 qualification and MUET Band 5. Biology is one of my strongest subjects and the foundation of my journey into Medicine, so I genuinely enjoy teaching it. I believe every student can excel with the right guidance and patience. I am dedicated, approachable and committed to helping students truly understand their subjects rather than just memorizing for exams. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals!

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for SPM and Foundation level students who want to strengthen their understanding and improve their grades in Biology. I use the Feynman Technique where the students explain concepts in their own words, which is the truest sign of real understanding rather than memorising. I also apply Active Recall to strengthen memory retention, which is especially important in Biology where there is a lot of content to remember. Sessions are structured using the Pomodoro method, with 25 minutes of focused learning and 5 minute breaks, suited to Biology's reading-heavy nature. Each session typically runs 1 to 1.5 hours via online platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet, with reference to past year exam questions throughout. My lessons are suitable for Form 4, Form 5 and Foundation Science students.
