Hi! I’m Liya, an experienced ESL tutor with over five years of teaching in Seoul, South Korea. I’ve helped students of all backgrounds improve their speaking, writing, and everyday communication skills. As someone who’s lived abroad and learned new languages, I understand the challenges of language learning. I offer conversation-based, student-centered ESL lessons designed to build confidence in speaking, writing, and real-life communication. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and interests. Lessons focus on speaking practice, vocabulary building, writing support, and natural, practical English. A typical session includes a warm-up chat, new vocabulary or phrases, speaking or writing exercises, and feedback with corrections. I create a relaxed, supportive space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and improving naturally. My international experience allows me to offer cultural context, writing guidance, and useful, real-world language tips. Experience with teaching Kindergarten age to adults.
