First, I need to listen to students about what they need help with, and identify where the gaps are so I know where to start to help them. My goal is not to help them finish their homework or get by with their exams. I want to recover their missing gaps of fundamental knowledge. My experience was to see students missing their fundamental skills; therefore, they think math is a difficult subject to study. Once they have a good basic understanding, then they can solve problems by themselves.
