About Nejc
I am a motivated third-year Finance student at the University of Amsterdam, currently on exchange at USYD, where I am mainly taking financial mathematics courses.
Throughout my Bachelor’s, I have become very interested in mathematics, statistics, finance, and econometrics, building on my interest in mathematics since high school. I also have over a year of tutoring experience, mainly teaching university students in mathematics, finance, and accounting.
I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts and develop a clear approach to solving problems, rather than simply memorizing solutions.

I have been tutoring online for the past year, mainly in mathematics, finance, accounting and geography. I primarily teach first and second year university students, as well as final-year high school students (18+).
My approach is practical and adapted to each student. I usually explain the concept first, work through examples together, and then focus on exercises and exam preparation. Lessons can be used for regular course support, exam preparation or working through specific topics.
A typical lesson lasts one hour, but I am flexible depending on the student's needs. I have taught sessions ranging from 45 minutes to 3 hours. I prefer teaching online, but in-person lessons in Sydney are also possible.
