If there’s one thing I’ve learned from teaching thousands of students, it’s that there is no ONE way to teach. I of course have a good grasp of the basics, but I’m a firm believer in getting to know the student and molding how I teach them around that experience. Everyone learns differently, and my favorite thing about doing this is getting to see that. I was quite the unconventional learner myself, so I’m looking forward to seeing how you learn!
I’ve known I wanted to teach ever since I was a kid, and I started doing it very early. All the way back in high school I began student teaching courses so I could spend as much time in the classroom as possible. That was 6 years ago and I’ve loved it more with each passing year! I recently graduated from the UTA College of Education, which required multiple years of full time teaching as well as always working in teaching jobs on the side. It’s safe to say I know what I’m doing!
