About Natasha
I am a second-year PhD student at the University of Western Australia, researching molecular genetics of eating disorders. Through my academic career, I have completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with a first-class Honours by research in the same field I am doing my PhD. Over the past 18 months I have been undertaking research in the United States and New Zealand.
I specialise in genetics, and can tutor biology, mathematics, chemistry, and English. While the subject is important, I also like to help develop good study skills and positive approaches to learning.
Since 2018, I have been employed by the WA Department of education as a tutor with the Follow the Dream Program at Fremantle College and privately tutored six students ranging from early childhood to mature-aged university entrance.

I have four years of experience tutoring with Follow The Dream organisation and privately, teaching a variety of students from both high school and tertiary levels. Furthermore, my academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with first-class Honours from the University of Notre Dame. The key factor is that the student must want to learn. From that point, the most crucial thing for me is getting them to understand the concept, not just memorise it.
