About DARLENE
I’m a competent tutor in Mathematics (all high school levels, including Maths Methods and Specialist) and ATAR Physics with 3 years of experience teaching students from Year 7 to Year 12, both privately and with a tutoring company. I have a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Physics, and I'm currently pursing Honours in Experimental Physics

I have tutored over 40 students from a range of backgrounds over my tutoring career. A lot of students come in feeling unmotivated and doubtful of their capabilities, and I have seen them grow, smash their goals and greatly exceed their own expectations. I create individualised lesson plans with each student to help them get the most of the one-on-one time. I also practice goal setting and efficient study techniques with all my students, so they can study smarter, not harder and have a balanced and healthy relationship with school and extra-curricular activities. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right attitude and hard work, but they might just need a little bit more attention to fully develop their understanding. Private tutoring is a valuable and worthwhile investment to help students reach their full potential.
