About Grace

I have been speaking both French and English everyday since the age of 3 and obtained and completed 15 years of education in France. I got the equivalent of an A in my French Baccalaureate literature exam and a b in French Philosophy.

As a person who has been through the French education system (and lived ion France during that time) I am equally equipped to help with academic French and more native sounding conversation.

About the lesson

I know the grammatical rules and appreciate their importance but am also aware of their complexity, which is why I try to make sure students don't get lost in them and actually understand what they are learning. I like to establish a foundation of basic knowledge which will allow the student to feel more confident. A combination of writing and conversation works best in my experience. In the case of secondary school and six form students I will base my tutoring on their teachers classes and work to improve the students understanding of their mistakes and provide time to practice, at their own pace to reduce them. I know how tiring learning a language can be which is why my classes typically last 45mins to an hour maximum.

I believe I can help prepare students for exams but am also happy to help anyone who simply wishes to improve their language skills.
