About Laurence

Cup winning university level head coach and sport scientist with Premier League experience. I am offering private one to one, and small group training sessions to help you improve your technical, tactical, and physical abilities on the football pitch. If winning is your goal, allow me to help you break that down into smaller achievable targets in the exact same way that the professionals do. For a limited time only I am offering lower rates than what I believe my time is worth as this is a brand new venture for me. This may also only be available for the summer months as I currently have a number of open applications to work at professional clubs from the Premier League, Championship, and overseas.

About the lesson

I seek to take a data led, sport science approach to training sessions with all clients. After a free consultation to ascertain your specific goals, I will build a program for you to improve upon whatever aspect we decide should be the priority. This will fall into one of the following broad categories:

* Football specific fitness goals (e.g. improve speed, endurance, etc)

* Technical performance (e.g. improve first touch, shooting, passing, etc)

* Tactical theoretical insights (explaining tactical systems, including individual player roles within a range of systems)

Using video feedback and wearable technology I am able to leverage my elite-level knowledge, expertise, and experience to help you to improve as a player and athlete. Whilst obtaining my BSc in Science & Football at Liverpool John Moores University, for which I graduated top in class, I was trained in using and interpreting performance metrics and the in-depth analysis of movements involved in performing key actions in football. I was able to test this knowledge in the field whilst working for two Premier League clubs, and the University Men’s first team. I am extremely passionate about imparting my knowledge onto my clients, so much so that my goal is always to create clients that no longer need my services in time.

Measuring progress is one of the key aspects of maintaining motivation for training, which is why I use only the gold standard of wearable tech. This is exactly the same tech that I used in my day-to-day monitoring of professional players whilst working for a Premier League club's sport science department in the north west of England. Documenting your progress as we advance your game to new levels will enable you to see exactly how far you have developed and set new, measurable performance goals on a continual basis in order to keep improving.

I am currently the head coach of a fast growing amateur football club that trains in central London. Last season we filmed all of our first team games using an artificial intelligence sports camera, and finished the season with a cup win. If you have ambitions to join a forward thinking, innovative club of the future, we welcome players of all adult ages and abilities, and will soon have 3 teams playing on both Saturdays and Sundays in the Middlesex combined counties league.

Free taster lessons will last an hour, with paid lessons lasting up to 1 hr 45 mins, depending on your requirements.
