About Valencia
As a Visual Artist and Art Instructor I have dedicated my professional years of Art and Creativity to ensuring undeserved communities and young aspiring artists have access to the Arts. I have creatively served individually by providing Painting Workshops for non-profit organizations, recently formed a non-profit organization, Molly’s Place-The Congaree Swamp Center of The Arts and Culture, to ensure young artists in Southeast Columbia, SC have a platform to learn about and produce public works of Art to enhance and revitalize the community and as an Artpreneur with The Auntie Karen Foundation since 2017 teaching Art in public schools in 34 different counties to provide unlimited access to the Arts.
As a Black woman Artist, it is especially an honor to be an inspiration to and vessel for young artist and all ages in the communities worldwide. I will not always be here physically, but my Art, my words, my legacy, my strong impact will always remain. While I am still here, I will continue to evolve and make the necessary connections, reconnections or disconnections to keep the Arts alive, strong and accessible to all!

Not only is Visual Art therapeutic, it is one the oldest forms of non-verbal communication. It also proves as the best form of creative expression and improves children and adults performance in school and professional settings. It provides a stronger mindset, a more optimistic view on life. Art allows us all to tell our stories, release frustrations, and create healthy and honest dialogs simultaneously.
Nationally there are communities that have zero access to the Arts. There are millions of naturally gifted creative geniuses that have zero access to a great instructor that will assist with enhancing their skills, terminology and boost their confidence. I am here! With a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Fine Arts, 20+ years experience as a professional artist and Art Instructor, I understand how vital it is to keep the Arts alive and strong in all communities worldwide.

Valencia taught me through out Highschool and did an excellent job. She helps and teaches different age brackets in an accurate and fun manner. She always makes sure to properly inform students and introduce different styles of art along the way.
