We will usually try to write things on paper, while still guiding on call with videos (writing down helps the brain remember more.) I ask that you limit distractions and have good working supplies. Focusing tools are welcome. Questions are unlimited. I think my students can relate to me by being closer in age with me, so I'll know what works to keep them entertained.
