**About me — Legal Studies**
I'm studying Law and Commerce at Deakin University, which I came to after finishing school with a 91.55 ATAR. Legal Studies was one of the subjects that pushed me toward law in the first place — I liked that it wasn't about memorizing facts so much as learning to think clearly, build an argument, and back it up. That's the part I most enjoy helping students with.
Because I'm now studying law at university level, the VCE content sits within a much bigger picture for me, and I can explain not just what you need to know but why it works the way it does — which tends to make it stick.
Having been through these exams recently myself, I remember how overwhelming the workload and the assessment criteria can feel. My aim is to take the stress out of it and give you a clear, steady way through. I'm relaxed and patient, no question is ever too small, and I'd rather you leave genuinely understanding the material and trusting your own reasoning than just reciting it.

I’m a Law and Commerce student at Deakin University with a 91.55 ATAR, and Legal Studies is one of my favorite subjects to teach because I’m studying the university-level version of it right now. The content is fresh in my mind, so I can show students not just how to pass the exam but where the material actually leads.
Having finished school not long ago myself, I remember exactly what these exams feel like, and I want to make the experience far less stressful. I focus on the things that move marks: structuring extended responses so they answer the question, using legal terminology precisely, and understanding the reasoning behind the law so exam questions stop feeling like traps. Where it helps, I’ll connect the content to real cases so it sticks.
My approach is relaxed and patient — no question is too small. I care more about you genuinely understanding the material than memorizing it, because I’d rather you walk into the exam confident enough to handle whatever comes up.
