About Kristen
I am a highly skilled Elementary/Special Education/ESL Educator, with 22 years of experience. Being a versatile educator, I have taken the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and cultures. As a result, I have developed into an advocate and highly trained professional with the ability to effectively incorporate the necessary modifications that are required to sustain successful instruction.
I take pride in the fact that I am well versed within the Wilson/Orton Gillingham methodology and have been successfully using it with my students for many years.
I believe in educating through understanding the unique learning style of each student. Taking the time to implement innovative lessons that build a positive teacher/student relationship is essential to my instruction.
I am passionate within this profession, one that always has the best interest of the student in mind. I believe that my education, experience and knowledge within the field of education affirms my ability to successfully tutor a wide variety of students.
