I am a generalist in this age of specialization. It is what happens to a liberal arts graduate in a technical world. working in fields as diverse as banking, transportation and administrative support in clerical and word processing capacities. I have also been a realtor, tutor and tennis instructor.

My teaching approach is to determine whether the student glass is full, half-full or empty. In drawing, I draw like Rembrandt; in painting I paint like a camera with realism. This moment is the time to expand horizons for students. My writing assignments would attempt to wean them away from relying on source material to write confidently with originality.
