About Connor
With 7 years of experience teaching trumpet, I have worked with school and college students from different backgrounds and learning levels. My passion for education motivates me to create lessons that are enjoyable, practical, and suited to each student's individual needs.
Students learn breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, articulation, rhythm, tone production, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and performance skills. I provide clear explanations and regular feedback so students continue improving with confidence.
Throughout my teaching career, I have celebrated many milestones by helping students succeed in examinations, performances, and personal musical goals. Their progress inspires me to continue supporting every learner with patience and dedication.
I believe learning should be encouraging and interactive. Students are motivated to ask questions, practice consistently, and enjoy every step of the learning journey.
My mission is to help students build strong musical foundations while developing confidence, discipline, creativity, and a genuine love for music that lasts a lifetime.

My teaching methodology is based on making trumpet lessons enjoyable, organized, and easy to follow. I believe that every student can learn to play the trumpet with confidence when they receive the right guidance and encouragement. I prepare personalized lesson plans based on each student's age, skill level, learning style, and musical goals. My aim is to help students improve steadily while enjoying every lesson.
Motivation is one of the most important parts of my teaching. I encourage students to stay positive, practice regularly, and never give up when they face challenges. Every improvement is recognized because even small achievements help build confidence and inspire students to keep learning.
Communication is the foundation of my lessons. I explain every concept in simple English and use demonstrations to make techniques easy to understand. I listen carefully to students, answer their questions patiently, and make sure they fully understand before moving to the next topic.
Integrity guides my teaching approach. I always provide honest feedback, treat every student with respect, and encourage responsibility, discipline, and consistent practice. I believe these qualities help students succeed both in music and in everyday life.
Creativity keeps lessons interesting and enjoyable. I include breathing exercises, tone-building practice, rhythm activities, articulation drills, musical expression, improvisation, and performance preparation to help students become complete musicians.
Besides trumpet, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm training, ensemble performance, music appreciation, and beginner improvisation. My goal is to help students become confident performers who enjoy music throughout their lives.
