About Kia

I am a passionate and patient Flute Tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, guiding high school and college students in their musical journey. Teaching music is my greatest joy, and I truly enjoy helping students grow in confidence and skill. So far, I have successfully taught more than 300 students from different learning backgrounds.

My teaching approach is simple, clear, and well-planned. I focus strongly on breath control, finger movement, rhythm accuracy, tone quality, and musical expression. I always make sure students understand the basics clearly before moving to advanced lessons. I believe strong fundamentals are the key to becoming a confident flute player.

One of the proudest moments in my career has been preparing students for stage performances at school and college events. Many of my students have also performed well in music exams and competitions. Their success and improvement give me great motivation to continue teaching with dedication.

I always create a positive and encouraging learning environment. I guide my students with patience, kindness, and strong support. My goal is not only to teach flute but also to help students become confident, disciplined, and passionate about music for life.

About the lesson

My flute teaching approach is based on strong communication, personal accountability, and professional integrity. I focus on helping students feel confident while learning the flute. I begin by teaching correct posture, breathing methods, finger movement, and tone quality in a simple and friendly way. Lessons move at a comfortable pace based on each student’s ability.

Through clear communication, I make sure students understand each lesson properly. I encourage open discussions and feedback so students never feel shy to ask questions. Accountability is built through regular practice plans and small weekly goals. This helps students stay focused, organized, and motivated throughout their learning process.

Integrity guides my relationship with students. I always respect their efforts, offer honest guidance, and support them during difficult learning stages. Along with flute lessons, I also teach music reading, basic theory, rhythm counting, and listening practice. These subjects support flute learning and help students become well-rounded musicians. My aim is to create a positive learning experience that builds skill, confidence, and a love for music.
