About Juan
Music is my vocation, therefore I have a strong commitment of sharing the musical knowledge that I've learned throughout my journey. I have performed in concerts and recitals since age 15, as a soloist, accompanist, and as a band player, participating for guitar ensembles, jazz ensembles, flamenco groups, and orchestras throughout the U.S. Southwest and Mexico.

I began teaching in 2007, working for the Phoenix Conservatory of Music (PCM). I have also taught at the New Mexico School of Music, University of New Mexico's continuing education program, Imperial Valley College (IVC), and continue to teach on both sides of the US/Mexico border. Whether you are a beginner or would like to improve you playing and/or knowledge, it would be my pleasure to assist you in that process.
