About Liam
As a Saxophone tutor with 14+ years of experience, I have successfully taught nearly 150 students across different skill levels. I enjoy guiding students from their first lessons to more advanced stages of performance and expression.
My teaching method is student-centered and flexible. I take time to understand each learner’s goals and adapt lessons accordingly. I believe patience, consistency, and encouragement are key to musical success.
I focus strongly on essential saxophone techniques such as breathing, embouchure control, tone production, finger coordination, and rhythm. For advanced students, I offer guidance in musical phrasing, improvisation, and performance preparation.
In addition to saxophone instruction, I teach music theory, sight-reading, and listening skills. My goal is to help students develop confidence, discipline, and a lasting love for music.

My approach to teaching saxophone combines structure with flexibility. I create a clear lesson plan that includes warm-ups, scale practice, articulation drills, and song learning. I motivate students by making lessons engaging and goal-oriented, helping them see steady progress.
Communication is always open and supportive, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and clarifying doubts. With integrity, I carefully track progress and provide constructive feedback to strengthen weak areas. Creativity plays an important role in my classes, and students are encouraged to explore improvisation and develop their own musical style. Along with saxophone, I teach rhythm counting and basic harmony to support overall musicianship.
