About Kelsey
I have worked in the field of education since January 2007, and have tutored multiple students outside of the classroom setting. As a student myself, I struggled with math, until I pursued a degree in that area as an adult. Math quickly became an interest for me, because sometimes all you need is to hear the problem explained differently.

I am employed as a high school special education teacher, with a primary focus in the math and science domains. Learning by doing, providing hands on and real world experiences is how I prefer to teach, using a variety of different resources. My specialties include differentiating, modifying, and accommodating individual needs. It is my goal to help bridge any learning gaps, and support a level of independence through building confidence with difficult tasks.
